Follow in the footsteps of German-born and widely acclaimed Australian artist Hans Heysen on this carefully selected art tour. Who better to do this with than artist and tutor, Herman Pekel, whose style and love of the Australian landscape is uniquely his own. We will visit and paint some of Australia’s most beautiful landscapes including the picturesque Barossa Valley, the quant historical towns of Quorn, Clare and Burra, and the amazing rugged Flinders Ranges.
Herman Pekel is well known throughout Australia and the world for his oil and watercolor paintings, along with his unique teaching style and casual, fun nature. His style is described as spontaneous, intuitive, with strong design and powerful impact which he produces with energy and enthusiasm. Herman has won numerous awards, has participated in a travelling exhibition in Taiwan, exhibits his work regularly in the USA and has work featured in a number of prominent art books.
