It’s free.  All you have to do is just bring your art gear and we’ll paint together as we watch the world go by.  I’ll give you a few hints and tips about location, composition, setting up your work area, and planning your painting before we begin, and then you’ll be free to wander off and find your own special spot to paint and soak up the atmosphere.  No pressure, no rules, just a lovely way to start your weekend!  Please call me on 0450 524 229 for an equipment list and to let me know if you’ll be coming.

Carine Open Space (Beach Rd, Carine) 

(Carine Open Space is centred around two swamps which are absolutely teeming with a large variety bird life. A wide range of flowers and native trees are also abundant, especially around the bigger swamp which has a walking trail weaving through it’s depths.  There is also a riding school nearby so you’ll more than likely see a horse or two to paint).

 If you are coming from the south, turn into Reid Hwy, left off Mitchell Fwy. First turnoff to right is Duffy Rd . Carry on until you get to the dental practice and go down that road. Turn into parking area. Toilets available. If you come by train, get off at Warwick station , walk over bridge, turn left at Caltex garage and walk past dental practice. Turn right until you see parking area.

If you are coming from the north on Marmion, turn into Beach road, right into Duffy and right again past the dental practice. Meet in the car park off Monyash Rd. (Monyash Rd is the road out of Duffy).
